Nowadays on Thursday, October 22nd, 2015 PT Tata Wahana Teknik had a visit from Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd represented by Mr. Tatsuya Teramoto, Manager Global Industrial System Division from Japan, for cooperation assessment in railway projects, especially in electric light train (KRL), considering its vast growth in Indonesia.
Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd is a manufacturer of trolley cables and catenary materials, which are widely used in Japan and other countries. During the assessment discussion, Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd expected PT Tata Wahana Teknik to be a local partner in catenary material provision as a distributor, as well as in future electric light train projects.
